Well everyone sorry I have not updated my blog since like August. My computer is down so I can not upload my pictures to post. I a sorry! And what fun is looking at a blog when there are no pictures right? Oh well. So my cute little baby Aspyn was born on May 16 2009 at 12:29 pm. over three weeks early. My blood pressure got up to 185/111 so my doctor decided it would be best to start me. I only had a hour to get to the hospital. He was going to start me on mag. but once i got to the hospital and got settled my pressure went down slowly so he held off on that and just started the pitosin. I had a great delivery and experience at LDS hospital other than my epidural issue. So what happened was all the anesthetic was going strait into my cerebral spinal fluid which paralyzed my body I could not even lift up my neck or breath they had me on 15 liters of oxygen and still was having a hard time. they stopped the epidural and the pitosin because Aspyn's heart rate kept dropping to forty and fifty. Finally after a couple hours I was finally able to start feeling my body again it was so scary dusin was freaking out the whole time the anesthesiologist and my nurse kept saying they had never seen this happen before. which made me think " so you have no idea how to fix me?" which freaked me out. But anyways it finally wore off and they were able to start my med back up again and my epidural so things went great from there. I started pushing at 12:25 and she was born at 12:29 so three pushes and she was out. little longer than Tavis took but i can't complain. She was 6.4pounds 19 inches long and beautiful as can be. Things are good so far Tavis just loves her and constantly in her face and wanting to hold her. We call him the binki patrol.
Monday june 22 she started to spit up blood and it totally freaked me out. So my doctor who i just love so much he is so good, sent us up to primary childrens on tuesday for and upper GI to check things out. Everything looked good but she does have moderate reflux which he believes is causing the bleeding so we are starting her on zantac today and hopefully that will held. she now weighs eight pounds and thriving.
